Estate planners and family lawyers may be the types of attorneys that the average person is most likely to hire during their lifetime. Although these fields relate closely to one another and overlap often, estate planners often operate in relative ignorance of family law, and vice versa. This panel discussion will examine the ways these two practices overlap and ways in which the two practices can learn from one another.
