Endowment for Alaska's Pets  (The Alaska Community Foundation )

This endowed fund supports organizations and initiatives that promote responsible pet ownership, place rescue pets in loving homes, provide financial assistance to owners who are unable to afford emergency care and/or long-term medication for their pets or help keep the feral pet population in Alaskan communities under control. This fund will support organizations that are fiscally sound and have proven their ability to respond to the needs of Alaskan pets.

As the fund grows in size, the Endowment for Alaska Pets may consider requests for capital needs from charitable animal organizations, to include the purchase or construction of a facility in which the organizations may house unwanted pets, conduct business, or provide training to new pet owners.
