Panel Presentation on Estate Planning Issues Commonly Encountered in Divorce

The presenters will provide an overview of estate planning issues commonly encountered in divorce such as insurance, trusts, and even burial plots!  The presenters will also discuss various divorce process options.

​About the Speakers:

Lisa Rogers is an Anchorage CPA and owns Rogers & Company, CPA, P.C.  She helps clients resolve the financial aspects of dispute resolution, primarily in divorces, and provides tax preparation and planning services.  She is a member of several professional organizations and serves on the Board of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council.

Ryan Roley is an Anchorage attorney who has practiced family law and domestic relations exclusively in Alaska since 1988.  He has resolved hundreds of cases and is a member of the Alaska Bar Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Alaska Association of Collaborative Professionals.

Kenneth Kirk is an Anchorage attorney and estate planner. He got his bachelor’s degree from UAA and his law degree from Cornell Law School. He started out as a trial lawyer and did a lot of divorces, but now limits his practice to estate planning. He has won the KTUU viewer’s choice poll three times as “best attorney”, and is a regular columnist for the Senior Voice.
